Next Board Meeting: 9/5/2006

Our next board meeting will be Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 at 7 pm. Meeting will be held at 3375 Redbud Court.

Entrance Sign Progress

I am excited about the new sign! I stopped by there today and took a picture at the very early stages of the building process and have attached it here. I will be taking pictures all the way through the build process and will pass them on to everyone. Not much there yet, just an outline, but we are getting closer. It should be ready in about two weeks (+/-).

New Signs

The Westfield Public Works has installed some new signs and replaced some faded signs. They replaced the stop sign on Trillium Court and also replaced the faded No Parking sign at the north entrance. The WPW installed new No Parking signs infront of the pond area along Grassy Knoll Drive.

Board Meeting Notes - 8/2/06

Meeting began at 7:20 PM

A neighbor was disappointed that they received a notice about their mailbox. She said that she left Sarah a voice mail before coming over to the meeting and had not yet heard back. She was unsure of why she received a notice. Mike went out and looked at the mailbox and said that it appeared to be faded.

Speed Bumps

  • We currently have over 50 signatures and need a total of 66 in order to submit them to the Westfield Public Works so that they can put in speed bumps.

  • Holly and Sandy stated that they need to hit the houses that they were not able to get to on the first trip.


Fence Request By Jon Allee

  • In an email Jon asked of the board would approve a part chain link part privacy fence. Board Vote was 4-0 against this type of fence.

  • It might be possible for him to use all the same type of material and along Grassy Knoll Drive side, start out at 3-4 ft high fence and then graduate it to the 6 ft fence at the rear of the property.

  • A large number of board members and neighbors worried about the lack of lawn maintenance and was wondering what would happen after the fence was installed. It was discussed if the weeds along with the fence would become an eye soar.


New Home Owners Packet

  • Margie is putting together a new homeowners packet for people who move into the neighborhood. We would like to include a welcome letter, brochures from the chamber of commerce, copy of the covenants and by laws, information about utilities and trash service, etc.


New Entrance Signs

  • Natasha presented a new alternative to front entrance signs. The new signs would be made out of Corian.

  • Board Voted 4-0 to proceed with the purchase and fabrication of the new sign.

  • Sign would be installed at the south entrance in about 3 weeks.

  • A sign for the north entrance will be purchased next year.


Mailboxes

  • Letters for mailboxes have went out and have been delivered. The Mailbox Doctor was at the meeting briefly and stated that he was installing 4 mailboxes and that he was installing another 20 on Saturday.


Meeting Dates/Times

  • Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Meetings will be at 3375 Redbud Ct.
