The Board received emails regarding placing speed bumps in the neighborhood. In order to do this, we would need to get 66 homes to sign a petition. This was requested by the Westfield Public Works. We will have a petition ready for the annual meeting. In the mean time, we will check into the possibility of hiring an off duty police officer to patrol the neighborhood.
Architectural Requests: - Lot 8: Would like to build a screened porch. Request was approved.
- Lot 83: 6’ privacy fence from fronts of house. Request was denied. The board felt that houses on corner lots should not have privacy fences. No other houses in the neighborhood, that are corner lots, have a privacy fence. It also appeard from the drawings that were submitted, that the fence would extend up to the front corner (NE Corner) of the garage. It was also felt that the fence would pose a visual barrier for drivers. We also saw that the rock structure that is on the SW corner of the property was 3 feet on his neighbors property. The board informed his neighbor (lot 82) of this fact.
Meeting adjourned around 8:30pm
